HyNet partners Heidelberg Materials and Department of Energy Security and Net Zero have this week announced they will enter final negotiations with UK Government for the carbon capture plant at their Padeswood cement plant in North Wales.
Heidelberg Materials will utilise HyNet’s infrastructure to transport, and safely lock away, carbon dioxide emitted as the cement is manufactured.
