We are planning ahead to ensure that potential suppliers across the region, and beyond, are in the best possible position to maximise the opportunities HyNet will bring.
By starting engagement early, HyNet’s partners would like to ensure organisations have an understanding of the project and the potential opportunities.
We also hope to gain an awareness of the services and products available to the HyNet partners.

WORKING TOGETHER TO CREATE A LOW CARBON CLUSTER
HyNet will provide carbon capture and low carbon hydrogen technology and infrastructure to decarbonise energy intensive industries, quickly. In doing so, the project will create thousands of new roles whilst safeguarding existing jobs which may have otherwise have been lost through the rising costs of carbon emissions.
Developing a low carbon cluster across the North West and North East Wales will create learning, training and upskilling opportunities, supporting the levelling up of the region to thrive into a low carbon future.

HyNet, Eni, The Department for International Trade and the North Sea Transition Authority, hosted the first in person event of it’s kind in the North West in June.
Developing a low carbon cluster across the North West and North East Wales will create learning, training and upskilling opportunities, supporting levelling up and helping the region to thrive into the future.
Over 110 individual businesses attended the event to hear about the Carbon Capture element of HyNet and take part in technical breakout sessions on selected procurement topics.
Launching the HyNet supply chain
We recently held our first event for those interested in being involved in HyNet.
Over 250 organisations attended the event to hear an update on HyNet in addition to presentations from each of the HyNet partners.
