We hosted our conference, HyNet 2026: Time to Deliver.
The event brought together 220 people to celebrate the successes to date, dive into lessons learned, and explore how projects are delivering benefits, locally and nationally. With topics spanning carbon capture and hydrogen, skills and supply chain, together we’ll explore how to turn ambition into action.
We were delighted to kick-off the event with Eleanor Lewis, from United Infrastructure, articulating how a HyNet thread has run through her career, from academia into industry, and calling for us collectively to provide transformative opportunities to many more young people.
Our panellists and presenters spoke enthusiastically about project impact and progress; we really saw the passion from industry wanting to lead the transition to net zero.
A main thrust of conversation concerned how to take the public on the journey with how HyNet will improve peoples everyday lives: lowering costs of bills, bringing good jobs and boosting the economy. All challenging topics.
